The 2026 issue of Vilnius Review presents a carefully curated selection of contemporary Lithuanian literature in English translation. Featuring poetry, fiction, essays, interviews, literary criticism, and emerging voices, it offers international readers an overview of some of the most significant developments in Lithuanian literature over the past year.

Created for the Lithuanian Season in France 2024, this special French-language issue brings together a selection of contemporary Lithuanian prose, poetry and essays written between 2020 and 2025. Featured in Le Monde and distributed in France by Le Soupirail, it offered French readers a snapshot of today’s Lithuanian literary landscape.
