Dainius Dirgėla

Dainius Dirgėla (b. 1969) is a Lithuanian poet, playwright, and photographer born in Vilnius. He graduated from Vilnius University in 1993 with a degree in Lithuanian studies and classical philology. Dirgėla has worked in advertising agencies for many years. He is a member of the Lithuanian Writer’s Union (2014), the Lithuanian Photographers Association (2020), and of the poetry group Svetimi. He is the author of seven books of poetry, with the most recent book Finišo kreivoji (the finish curve) published in 2026 by Baziliskas. Dirgėla also writes haiku and haigu poetry.
